Before attempting to wirelessly connect:
- Start the Screen Share function on the Promethean Panel by pressing the Unified Menu icon (flame of knowledge) in the middle of the physical button tray and selecting "Screen Share"
iPad
Swipe down from the top right to open Control Center
Tap the AirPlay icon
Select your Promethean Panel from the list (identifiable from the 6 digit code showing on the panel screen)
Select your name from the list on the Promethean Panel to share your screen
If your Promethean Panel does not show up on your AirPlay list, the following is a good secondary option:
Open the Promethean app (available in the Self Service app on your iPad)
Select "Teacher"
Enter code from Panel & your name
Start broadcast
Select your name from the list on the Promethean Panel to share your screen
Windows
Press Windows+K
Select the panel you want to connect with
Check box to include touch capabilities from the panel (optional)
Select your name from the list to share your screen
*If your Windows device does not connect to the Promethean Panel, you may need to install the Screen Share app listed in the link above and follow the directions for Mac below
Mac
Tap the AirPlay icon in the top menu bar
Select your Promethean Panel from the list (identifiable from the 6 digit code showing on the panel screen)
Select your name from the list on the Promethean Panel to share your screen
If your Promethean Panel does not show up on your AirPlay list, the following is a good secondary option:
use the Screen Share app and make sure you are connected to the guest WiFi network
Select "Teacher"
Enter code from Panel & your name
Check box to include touch capabilities from the panel (optional)
Select your name from the list to share your screen
